Lens Care Instructions

Applicable to all of our lenses: Anti-Fog / Photochromic / Polarized / Reinforced

⚠  Do NOT clean lenses with dish soap, detergents, alcohol, or any chemical solvents  ⚠

1 — Photochromic / Polarized / Hardened Lenses (Without Anti-Fog Coating)

  1. Rinse both the inside and outside of the lenses thoroughly with clean water to remove any debris.
  2. Use a microfiber lens cloth or glasses pouch to gently pat the lenses dry.
  3. If the lens cloth or glasses pouch becomes dirty, wash it with soap, rinse clean, and it's ready to use again.

2 — Photochromic / Polarized Lenses (With Anti-Fog Coating)

  1. Rinse both the inside and outside of the lenses thoroughly with clean water to remove any debris.
  2. Use a lens cloth to gently press and absorb excess moisture — do not wipe.
  3. Use a hair dryer on warm/hot setting to fully dry both sides of the lenses, or allow them to air dry in an environment with humidity below 60%. This removes moisture from the anti-fog coating and restores its effectiveness.
  4. Once the lenses are completely dry, use a slightly damp lens cloth to gently wipe both sides. You may apply light pressure at this stage. Finish by wiping dry with a clean, dry lens cloth.

Important Notes

  1. Anti-fog lenses are hydrophilic (water-absorbing). Once saturated with moisture, they lose their anti-fog effectiveness. In high-humidity environments, lenses may lose up to half or more of their anti-fog performance even before first use.
  2. Our anti-fog lenses are long-lasting but not permanent. Anti-fog performance will gradually diminish with repeated use and cleaning over time.
  3. When the anti-fog coating is saturated with water, the lens surface becomes soft and difficult to clean. Wiping the lenses in this state may cause scratches or coating damage. Always follow the proper cleaning steps above.
  4. If your lenses come into contact with sweat, saltwater, lotion, solvents, or similar substances, rinse them with clean water as soon as possible.
  5. Never apply any additional anti-fog spray or coating to these lenses. Doing so will damage the existing anti-fog layer and may cause the lens to become brittle.
Pro Tip: For maximum anti-fog performance, use a hair dryer on warm setting to fully dry your lenses before each use. Keeping lenses moisture-free significantly extends their anti-fog effectiveness.
